Pick the freshest flowers direct from our flower field just outside Chelmsford, running for 20 years as part of our family farm.
The Metson family have been farming locally for over 100 years, and three generations of the family are currently involved in the farm. We love welcoming you all to our farm when the flowers are blooming, usually mid/end-July for around a month.

For more than 20 years, this floral haven has welcomed visitors from near and far, inviting them to immerse themselves in the vibrant colors and intoxicating scents of a wide variety of blooms.
What started as a small family venture has blossomed into a beloved local tradition, where families, photographers, and nature enthusiasts gather to create memories among the petals. The field not only offers a chance to handpick a personal bouquet of fresh flowers but also serves as a testament to the family’s dedication to sustainable farming and fostering a deep connection between people and the natural beauty of the Essex countryside. Each visit promises a tranquil escape and an opportunity to partake in the simple joy of gathering flowers under the open sky, making it a cherished destination for all who discover it.
